Most of them are organized providing sunbeds, taverns and coffee bars. There is a variety of Water sports like water ski, parachute sailing, water rings, and scuba diving. Alternatively you can rent a small boat and explore other secluded beaches or the neighboring islands. Koukounaries, Vromolimnos and Kanapitsa Bay are some of the most popular ones on the south side but for a more traditional experience, the North side of the island is highly recommended with Elias Mandraki, Port of Xerxis, Kehria and Lalaria beach being some on the top of the list.
If you wish not to take any transportation for a swim we suggest Plakes area (5 minutes’ walk), which is a rocky place where you can practice your diving skills and swim in crystal emerald water, or Megali Ammos sandy beach (15 minutes’ walk). The guesthouse has also a private access to the sea for swimming.
