Location

Plakes area is the oldest part of Skiathos town. Located on the Southeast side of the island. Some of the oldest houses of the previous century can still be found here among the new. Its privileged location combines tranquility in just a few minutes from the center of Skiathos town, taverns, cafes and bars.
Plakes area is inaccessible to cars and because of the cobbled streets and steps, it might be an issue for guests with special mobility needs. Nevertheless, the properties are reachable by bikes.

How to find us:

The airport is 4 km away via the Ring road. By taxi or by car, choose the destination of the Church of Panagia Limnia (not the port or the old Health Center), which is 150 m. walk downhill. There are signs from the church to Chrysoula's Guest House. Taxi costs ~ 15 euros.
In addition, Skiathos airport is 2,6 km via the Coast road, which is ~40’ walk.

From the port/ferry:
Walk as far as the end of the Old Port, where the 'fish-market' is. From there, climb the 35 steps and turn left into the square of Ai-Giannakis, where is the entrance of both accommodation.
